Rajasthan Patwari 2025: the full timeline

Here is how the 2025 cycle moved from advert to final result:

1. Advert: Advt 02/2025 for 3,705 posts. Job sites give the advert date as 20 February 2025 and a split of 3,183 non-scheduled area and 522 scheduled area (TSP) posts; the 3,705 total is from news reports.
2. Exam: 17 August 2025, in two shifts.
3. Result: 3 December 2025. 4,479 candidates were disqualified for leaving more than 10% of questions unattempted.
4. Scrutiny form: 4 to 6 December 2025 for shortlisted candidates.
5. Document verification: 8 to 15 December 2025.
6. Final result: 31 December 2025.

That is about four and a half months from exam to final result, which is fast for a state recruitment.

Job sites also report a revised or additional final result on 9 July 2026 adding 365 candidates (308 non-TSP and 57 TSP) after the Revenue Board's eligibility report. This is reported by job sites and not confirmed by the board, so check rssb.rajasthan.gov.in.

The 10% unattempted rule

The most important lesson from this result is the rule that removed 4,479 candidates. Their answer sheets left more than 10% of questions unattempted, so they were disqualified, according to Careers360 Hindi (3 December 2025).

The exact rule and how a question counts as attempted are printed in the instructions of each RSSB paper and advert. In practice this means:

• Read the instructions on your own question paper carefully, because the exact rule is printed there.
• Do not leave more than one question in ten without a marked bubble.
• Keep a few minutes at the end to check that every question is marked the way the paper instructions require.

Before any RSSB exam, including Pashu Parichar and other board exams, check whether the same rule is in the advert and the paper instructions.

Rajasthan Patwari cut off 2025 (as reported)

RSSB publishes cut-offs with its result notices. We could not read those PDFs directly. The figures below are reported by job sites and not confirmed by the board; check the official result notice before you rely on them. Marks are out of 300.

Reported final cut-offs for the TSP (scheduled) area: GEN 226.3309, SC 210.3365, ST 180.5541.

How to read a Patwari cut off

Cut-offs confuse many candidates. A few points help:

• Shortlisting vs final: the shortlisting cut-off decides who is called for scrutiny and document verification. The final cut-off is the mark of the last person actually selected after verification. The final figure is usually higher, because some shortlisted people drop out or are found ineligible.
• TSP vs non-TSP: scheduled area (TSP) posts have a separate merit list, and cut-offs there are much lower. You can only compete for TSP posts if you meet the residence rules in the notice.
• Decimal marks: cut-offs with four decimal places show that the marks used for merit are not simple raw scores. With two shifts, they are likely adjusted; read the result notice to see the method.
• Category and sub-category: women, widows, ex-servicemen and other sub-categories may have their own cut-offs, listed in the official notice.

Job sites describe the paper as 150 MCQs for 300 marks in 3 hours with a minus one-third mark per wrong answer. Not confirmed by the board; check the advert. With negative marking and the 10% rule together, careful guessing matters.

How to check the Patwari result

1. Open rssb.rajasthan.gov.in and go to the results section.
2. Find the Patwar Recruitment 2025 result notice (final result dated 31 December 2025).
3. Open the PDF and search for your roll number.
4. For marks, use the score link if the notice gives one, and log in with the details the page asks for.

RSSB publishes its exam calendar and adverts on rssb.rajasthan.gov.in, and applications are taken only through SSO on recruitment.rajasthan.gov.in.
